While Progressives try to move the narrative about Chick-Fil-A CEO Dan Cathy, and his views on gay marriage, claiming that he, and the company, hates gay people, Progressives – including the Mayors of Chicago and Boston – have worked to intimidate business, and limit free speech. The science is in; Progressives are fascists.

After Cathy stated that he views marriage as a union between one man and one woman, Progressives launched a vicious assault on Cathy and the company. Chicago Alderman Joe Moreno has stated that he will not allow permits to be given to Chick-Fil-A because he disagrees with Cathy’s position:

On Wednesday, Moreno did not dispute that Cathy had the right to say what he said. But, Moreno said, “There are consequences for freedom of speech (and) in this case the consequences are… you’re not going to have your first free-standing restaurant in Chicago.

What Moreno calls “consequences,” History calls fascism. Progressives like Moreno, through their actions, proudly claim themselves to be members of the “Thought Police.” And, for disagreeing with them, they punish you economically (to start.) This intolerance is not just limited to Cathy or Chick-Fil-A. The citizens of Chicago also suffer, because they will not be able to benefit from the jobs that Chick-Fil-A would create.

Moreno’s Progressive ideology is so great that he would rather limit free speech and further deprive Chicago residents of economic opportunity than let Chick-Fil-A operate a free-standing building in his Ward.

Mayor Emanuel, the former Chief of Staff to President Obama, stated:

They’re not respectful of our residents, our neighbors and our family members. And if you’re gonna be part of the Chicago community, you should reflect Chicago values.

In Chicago, there have been over 250 homicides year-to-date, with 37 homicides so far in July alone. Emanuel has welcomed known anti-Semite and gay marriage opposer Nation Of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan to the city, as they will “play their part” in helping to keep the city safe:

The police have a role to play. Tearing down abandoned buildings has a role to play. Shutting liquor stores that are a cancer in the community have a role to play. Community leaders have a role to play. Pastors have a role to play. Principals have a role to play. And most importantly, parents have roles to play. They have decided, the Nation of Islam, to help protect the community. And that’s an important ingredient, like all the other aspects of protecting a neighborhood…

Progressives are not only fascists, they are also hypocrites. And dangerous.
